About The Position

Mercy Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Youngstown, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Mercy Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for their Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The role is PRN and focuses on providing exceptional patient care that exceeds industry standards. The hospital is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility serving the Youngstown community and is CHQ Accredited. Requirements

• Associate's degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in Ohio
• CPR certification required

Nice To Haves

• Rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
