About The Position

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and UW Health, is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation care. The role focuses on assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering care to help restore strength, mobility, and function. The therapist educates patients and caregivers, documents treatment and outcomes, and collaborates with rehabilitation teams on discharge planning. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, with either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current PT license.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams and participate in discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
