About The Position

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and UW Health, is hiring a Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. The role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care to restore strength, mobility, and function. The therapist educates patients and caregivers, documents treatment and outcomes, and collaborates with the rehabilitation team on discharge planning.

This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, with either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule. The role also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current physical therapist license.
• CPR certification required.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams and participate in discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
