About The Position
UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and UW Health, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. The role focuses on providing patient-centered care to restore strength, mobility, and function while supporting patients and caregivers throughout rehabilitation and discharge planning. The Physical Therapist conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, provides direct care, educates patients and caregivers about home exercise programs, documents treatment and outcomes, and collaborates with the rehabilitation team. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current PT license.
- CPR certification required.

- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
- Accurately document treatment sessions and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams and participate in discharge planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
