About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care for a diverse patient population. The organization cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The role is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing individualized treatment programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist, in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices used in the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. The position is based at Tavares Rehab and is listed as full-time, day shift. Requirements

PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.
One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
