About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing treatment programs for individual patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
