About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who need extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individual treatment programs in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcome, as is a commitment and desire to learn.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system within different facilities.
