About The Position

Relient Health is seeking a caring and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The facility provides rehabilitation services through a collaborative, patient-focused therapy department. The PTA will join a supportive rehab team with access to modern equipment and mentorship, in an environment that values professional growth. New graduates and experienced PTAs are welcome. This is a direct-hire, permanent placement role scheduled Monday through Friday. The estimated compensation range is approximately $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. The position includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, continuing education support, and licensure assistance. Some positions offer a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current New Mexico license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant; new graduates are also welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Document patient progress using EMR systems.
Communicate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff.
Promote patient independence and mobility.
