About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound-management approaches, cutting-edge clinical technologies, and the latest wound-care modalities. The practice provides physician-level wound-management training and a six-month wound-care fellowship, with paid training during onboarding. This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location, typically visiting two to three facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a typical commitment of four to five days per week. Part-time opportunities are available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available. W-2 physicians reportedly earn an average of $300,000 per year, and the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year.
