About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician in Richmond, Virginia, to provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. This is a mobile practice covering facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided.
