Family Medicine Physician - Richmond, VA
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician in Richmond, Virginia, to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This mobile practice offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and part-time schedules of at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to working at least 3 weekdays per week.
