About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers a mobile practice with clinical autonomy and flexibility, and no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work four to five weekdays per week; part-time opportunities require at least three weekdays per week. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
