About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. This is a mobile practice, with real-time clinical documentation during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

The role offers full-time or part-time work. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
• Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
