About The Position

Getlabs is a platform for at-home diagnostics, helping healthcare organizations send mobile phlebotomists to patients’ homes to collect labs, vitals, and advanced diagnostics. The Phlebotomist Senior Team Lead oversees operational performance, quality compliance, and leadership development across a multi-market region. Building on the Team Lead role, this position leads, coaches, and holds phlebotomists and Shift Leads accountable, and serves as the escalation point above the Team Lead level when the supervisor is unavailable. The role follows Leader Standard Work (LSW) and maintains clinical competency with a reduced patient appointment load, focusing on regional coverage strategy, performance analysis, process improvement, and partnership with Operations Management. This is a remote position, currently limited to candidates residing within a 20–30 mile radius of San Francisco, California. Travel of up to 40% is required for market visits, Team Lead development, onboarding, and field training. Employees who have contact with patients must be vaccinated as a condition of employment. The Senior Team Lead supervises and develops assigned teams; manages regional coverage and escalations; reviews payroll, routing, inventory, and performance; and leads quality improvement, hiring, onboarding, training, and corrective action processes. The role may act as supervisor during absences and peak periods, making same-day staffing, scheduling, and escalation decisions. Key performance areas include redraw rates, critical errors, patient satisfaction and NPS, market stability, Team Lead effectiveness, and team retention.
