About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring a part-time, day-shift Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work at various draw sites in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service. It also involves collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing; registering patients and entering test data; and monitoring supply levels.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy course.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- One year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
- Register patients and enter test data.
- Monitor supply levels.
