About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work in Central Testing at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Full-time and part-time day positions are available. The site is open from 0600 to 1800. The role performs patient phlebotomy while providing a high level of customer service. It also involves collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing; registering patients and entering test data; and monitoring supply levels.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
- Register patients and enter test data.
