About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant for Sentara RMH Medical Center in Central Testing in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The role is available full time or part time, with day shifts; multiple shifts are available. The site is open from 0600 to 1800. The Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service. The role also involves collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing, registering patients, entering test data, and monitoring supply levels.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
