About The Position

Bellin Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to support accurate patient diagnostics in a safe and comfortable environment. The role includes collecting blood samples, processing and distributing specimens, performing data entry, and communicating with patients about blood draws and the tests being conducted. The Phlebotomist also provides customer service to the lab by answering phones and interacting with patients, nurses, and physicians. Advancement to a higher-level Clinical Lab Assistant position may be available based on experience.

This is a full-time position at 1630 Commanche Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin, with a 0.95 FTE (38 hours per week). The schedule is variable between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus one Saturday out of every five from 8 a.m. to noon. No holidays are scheduled.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and other simple laboratory tests.
• Serve as a resource for patients and staff.
• Perform data and order entry and enter test results as needed.
• Assist departments with specimen processing and distribution.
• Assist medical technicians and technologists with various laboratory duties.
• Provide age-appropriate care and service as applicable to the role.
• Support reliable, predictable outcomes and efficient processes.
• Educate and communicate with patients about the blood draw process and the importance of tests.
• Answer phones and interact with patients, nurses, and physicians.
