About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist-Clinical Lab Assistant to work part-time days in central testing at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. The role performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service. It also involves collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing; registering patients and entering test data; and monitoring supply levels.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
Complete patient registration and test data entry.
