Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant I
About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist-Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time as an in-office phlebotomist (IOP) in the Charlottesville, Virginia area on the first (day) shift. The role performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service. It also collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing; handles registration and test data entry; and monitors supply levels. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.88–$29.43 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire.
