About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist – Clinical Lab Assistant to work part time days at the NDC Medical Center in Norfolk, Virginia. The position is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The role performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service; collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing; handles registration and test data entry; and monitors supply levels.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
One year of experience.
BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
