About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and part of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Representative in Memphis, Tennessee. The role supports prescription processing and fulfillment in a specialty pharmacy production environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time, with every other Friday off; on alternating weeks, Saturday hours are 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central Time.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience relevant to the role.
Tennessee State License pharmacy technician license.
Basic math skills and general PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak-volume times.
Willingness and ability to learn internal systems and processes as needed.

Responsibilities

Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs.
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
Enclose client-specified materials with orders.
Affix shipping labels to packages and sort them by carrier.
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies, including pill bottles, caps, safety seals, and paper.
Perform other duties as assigned.
