Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative - Accredo Specialty Pharmacy - Whitestown, IN
About The Position
Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and The Cigna Group, is seeking energetic and detail-oriented pharmacy technician associate representatives to help process and ship medications to patients. Accredo has delivered care and services for patients for more than 30 years and partners with prescribers, payers, and specialty manufacturers. The role is performed in a fast-paced pharmacy production setting and involves learning internal systems and processes. The position is onsite in Whitestown, Indiana, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. It may be eligible for a shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana.
- Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.
Responsibilities
- Process new and refill prescription requests.
- Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
- Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels.
- Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs.
- Prepare packages for shipment.
- Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies.
- Learn new internal systems and processes.
- Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced pharmacy production setting.
