About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative works onsite at Express Scripts Pharmacy in Whitestown, Indiana, processing and shipping medications to patients. The role supports pharmacy production in a fast-paced setting and helps ensure prescription orders are handled accurately. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana.
- Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.
Responsibilities
- Process new and refill prescription requests.
- Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
- Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels.
- Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs.
- Prepare packages for shipment.
- Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies.
- Learn new internal systems and processes.
- Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced pharmacy production setting.
