About The Position

Express Scripts by Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Representative to help ensure prescription orders are prepared accurately for patients. The role supports Express Scripts’ goal of making pharmacy simpler and better and helping patients access the medications they need.

This position works a second-shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. EST. The anticipated hourly pay range is $18–$27, depending on relevant factors such as experience and geographic location. The role is anticipated to be eligible for participation in an annual bonus plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
• Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a dispensing pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Ability and desire to assist team members.
• PC knowledge, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to stand for lengthy periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and responsibly prepare prescription orders.
• Change prescription labels.
• Clean printers.
• Repack and restock medications and materials.
• Prepare drugs for dispensing.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure medications are adequately filled and packed.
• Clean and help maintain equipment and the work area.
• Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
