About The Position

Express Scripts by Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Representative to help ensure prescription orders are prepared accurately. The role supports the company’s effort to make pharmacy simpler and better and to help patients access and remain on medications they need. The position works the second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. EST.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
Pharmacy Technician license required in the state of Ohio.
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a dispensing pharmacy.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions.
Ability and desire to assist team members.
PC knowledge, including the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to stand for lengthy periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms.
Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

Accurately and responsibly prepare prescription orders.
Change prescription labels.
Clean printers.
Repack and restock medications and materials.
Prepare drugs for dispensing.
Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure medications are adequately filled and packed.
Clean and help maintain equipment and the work area.
Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
