About The Position
The Pharmacy Production Clerk supports pharmacy operations by ensuring medications meet quality control standards and are properly labeled, stored, and stocked. The role includes visually inspecting patient-bound medications for defects, spills, or other quality concerns and promptly reporting issues. Clerks sort pills into bulk quantities, operate machinery to print medication instructions, and pack and label products for safe delivery. The position requires juggling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail. Training and support from peers and other teams are provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- General PC knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good visual acuity.
- Ability to read, compare, and differentiate data.
- Ability to stare at or review small medications or bottles for long periods.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Flexibility and adaptability to perform different roles during a shift.
