About The Position

Join Walmart's community pharmacy team as a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting patient care and pharmacy operations. The role contributes to customer health and wellness by advocating for patient wellbeing and helping ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. The position requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school. The hourly wage range is $21.50–$34.50, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible Regional Pay Zone compensation based on location. A $50,000 sign-on bonus is referenced for the 2027 Grad Sign On Program.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Follow HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) guidelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Address individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Support patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
