Requirements

• Must possess a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Must have a minimum of five years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience, or an advanced Pharmacy or Business degree and two years of hospital pharmacy experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Pharmacy degrees and residency training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operation and administrative direction of the Department of Pharmacy.
• Independent judgement is required to implement, coordinate, and monitor the support functions established to deliver accredited, effective and efficient daily patient focused pharmacy services.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Mercy Core Values, MMC policies and procedures, and state and federal regulatory mandates.
• Accountable for efficient use of resources and perpetuation of the MMC mission.
