About The Position

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice and develop the knowledge and skills needed for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, building understanding of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review, and professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection. Interns support pharmacy operations and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. They follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. As their tenure and readiness increase, they take on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations, within applicable laws and under appropriate supervision. The role may include patient counseling and services, prescription handling, inventory tasks, team coaching, and—where allowed by law and supported by required training and certification—immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. This is a part-time position. The stated pay range is $24.25–$42.00. Benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
