Pharmacy Grad Intern (Hrly) - $40,000 Sign On Bonus (2027 Grad Sign On Program)
About The Position
The Pharmacy Grad Intern supports Walmart pharmacy operations and helps improve customers’ health and wellness in a community pharmacy setting. The intern gains hands-on experience in patient care while helping the pharmacy team provide clinical care, maintain customer safety, and comply with legal and company policies. Responsibilities include protecting confidential information, helping process prescription and over-the-counter orders, assisting patients with clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies. The position is based at 2202 Highway 82 W, Greenwood, Mississippi.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Address individual patient needs.
- Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
- Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
