About The Position
The Pharmacy Grad Intern supports Walmart pharmacy operations and helps provide customer care and safety in a community pharmacy setting. The role offers hands-on experience supporting customer health and well-being, delivering patient care, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Responsibilities include protecting confidential information, assisting with prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
