About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting and help support customer health and well-being. The pharmacy team focuses on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with legal and company policies. You will contribute to pharmacy operations by supporting prescription and over-the-counter orders, providing patient care, and handling merchandise and supplies.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
