About The Position

Join Walmart’s pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Grad Intern and gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports customer health and wellness, patient well-being, clinical care, and safe pharmacy operations while following applicable legal and company policies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

• Enrollment in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to address individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
