Pharmacy Grad Intern (Hrly) - $50,000 Sign On Bonus (2027 Grad Sign On Program)
About The Position
The Pharmacy Grad Intern supports Walmart pharmacy operations while gaining hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role helps improve customer health and wellness, advocates for patient well-being, and supports clinical care, customer safety, and compliance with legal and company policies. Responsibilities include protecting confidential information, assisting with prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases, helping patients navigate clinical therapies, and receiving and stocking pharmacy merchandise and supplies. The position is based at 2125 NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, Oregon.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Be capable of catering to individual patient needs.
- Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
