About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting customer health and well-being. The role contributes to pharmacy operations by helping provide patient care, processing orders, handling merchandise and supplies, and following confidentiality, safety, legal, and company requirements. Candidates must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited Pharmacy school.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
Have the ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Be capable of catering to individual patient needs.
Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
