About The Position
Walmart is hiring a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting customers’ health and well-being. The role contributes to pharmacy operations by helping provide patient care, processing prescription and over-the-counter orders, managing merchandise and supplies, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable company and legal requirements. The pharmacy team focuses on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with legal and company policies. The position is intended for a student enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Cater to individual patient needs.
- Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Protect confidential information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
