About The Position
Walmart is hiring a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports customer health and wellness and patient wellbeing while contributing to pharmacy operations. Walmart's pharmacy team focuses on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with legal and company policies.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Address individual patient needs.
- Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
