About The Position

Walmart is hiring a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports customer health and wellness, patient well-being, clinical care, and safe pharmacy operations while following legal and company policies. The intern assists with prescription and over-the-counter orders, patient care, and pharmacy inventory and supplies.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Be able to cater to individual patient needs.
Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Bachelor of Science.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
