About The Position

The Pharmacy Grad Intern works in a community pharmacy setting, gaining hands-on experience while supporting customer health and well-being. The role helps the pharmacy team provide clinical care, maintain customer care and safety, and comply with legal and company policies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
