About The Position

The Pharmacy Grad Intern works in a community pharmacy, gaining hands-on experience supporting customer health and well-being. The role helps provide clinical care and supports safe pharmacy operations while following legal requirements and company policies. The intern assists with prescription and over-the-counter orders, patient care, and pharmacy inventory and supplies.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Ability to foster relationships with customers and pharmacy team members.
Ability to address individual patient needs.
Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
