About The Position

Young At Heart Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented leader to manage pharmacy floor operations and help ensure customers’ pharmaceutical needs are fulfilled. The manager leads the team in accomplishing quarterly key initiatives and oversees staffing, workflow, performance, and pharmacy operations. Young At Heart Pharmacy’s parent owner, Custom Health, provides a technology-enabled medication management and managed care solution. Its operations use proprietary software to coordinate automated pharmacies, at-home medication management, clinical oversight, and real-time data and insights.

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician License obtained through the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
At least 2 years of managerial experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain departmental policies and procedures, goals, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Ensure policies and procedures are followed so prescriptions and deliveries are accurate and shipments are ready on time each day.
Adjust workflow and staffing to prevent overtime and keep the budget at or below expectations.
Develop and counsel direct reports, support employee morale, and minimize turnover of productive and skilled employees.
Oversee staffing and other operational functions where technical personnel are the primary support resource.
Prepare work schedules, assign personnel, evaluate work performance, and recommend personnel actions.
Manage team leads who supervise pharmacy operations team members.
Build rapport with team members and support their professional development.
Conduct annual performance reviews.
Develop team leads and other technical personnel for greater roles and growth within the company.
Attend meetings as required and participate in training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
