About The Position

The Pharmacy Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Grand Prairie, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Atlanta, GA, West Des Moines, IA or Indianapolis, IN. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy License (Texas) or equivalent service in specialty Rx arena highly preferred.
  • 4 or more years of Pharmacist experience in either a clinical or retail setting highly preferred.
  • Medicaid health plan and pharmacy benefit management expertise preferred.
  • Expertise in relationship management preferred.
  • Experience as a liaison between pharmacy and medical health plan leaderships preferred.
  • Pricing and analytics expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
  • Provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and support pharmacy benefit management (PBM) field sales team during request for proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.
