The Pharmacy Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills. This role supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region. It provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and supports the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) field sales team during request for proposal (RFP) processes. Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.
