About The Position
K9 Resorts is hiring a part-time Pet Care Technician to provide hands-on care for dogs at its luxury boarding, daycare, and grooming resort. The role involves caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, helping maintain a safe, clean, and stress-free environment, and delivering an exceptional experience for pets and their owners. Training is provided, and the position offers opportunities for training and career development.
Requirements
- A genuine love for dogs.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Comfort with cleaning and pet care tasks.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Weekend and holiday availability required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Supervise daycare playgroups and ensure safe, positive interactions.
- Monitor dogs’ health, behavior, and safety, and report concerns immediately.
- Clean and disinfect suites and common areas to brand standards.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines.
- Deliver a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent.
- Support team operations and maintain a strong, positive culture.
