American Pest is hiring a Pest Control Service Technician to provide residential and commercial pest-control services. Technicians manage their own routes, typically making 4–16 stops per day, and work independently while receiving support from their manager and local team. At each appointment, they inspect properties, identify pest activity and contributing conditions, perform treatments, document their work, and educate customers about treatment expectations and ways to prevent future problems. No prior pest-control experience is required. The company provides paid training, assistance preparing for and paying for state certification exams, and continuing education. Technicians can progress through Registered, Professional, Advanced, Senior, and Elite career levels as they gain experience, knowledge, and certifications. Certified technicians receive quarterly development reviews. Advancement opportunities may include service management, branch management, residential or commercial sales, and other operational or leadership roles. The job involves substantial driving and active work outdoors in regular seasonal weather, climbing ladders, entering crawlspaces and other tight or hard-to-reach areas, and encountering unpleasant conditions. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, around 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with availability required for a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional overtime and Saturday work are expected, especially during peak season. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40. Pay is $21–$36 per hour based on experience and certifications; the top range is reserved for highly qualified technicians meeting specified certification, experience, and KPI criteria. A take-home company vehicle is provided for work use only.
