American Pest is hiring a Pest Control Service Technician to manage an assigned route serving residential and commercial customers. Technicians travel throughout their service area, inspect properties, identify pest activity and contributing conditions, perform treatments, document work, and explain results and prevention measures to customers. The role is primarily independent, with support from a manager and local team when needed. This is an active, field-based job rather than desk work. It involves driving between approximately 4–16 stops per day, working outdoors in seasonal weather, climbing ladders, entering crawlspaces and other tight spaces, and sometimes handling unpleasant conditions. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, around 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with availability required for a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be needed, especially during the busy summer season. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40. No prior pest control experience is required. American Pest provides paid training, assistance preparing for and paying for state certification exams, and continuing education. Technicians advance through Registered, Professional, Advanced, Senior, and Elite career levels as experience, knowledge, and certifications grow. Highly qualified technicians who meet the stated certification, experience, and KPI requirements may reach the top pay range. Qualified technicians may also pursue roles such as Service Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Residential Sales, Commercial Sales, and other operational or leadership positions.
