About The Position

The Pest Control Service Rep is a front-line representative who delivers Terminix pest-control services to residential customers within an assigned territory. The role involves traveling to customer locations in a company-provided vehicle, performing scheduled pest treatments, responding to service requests, and identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services. The position includes paid training and licensure, and additional sales may provide commission earnings on top of base compensation.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Personable and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to present information effectively to customers one-on-one and in small groups.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to safety.
• Aptitude for basic math, including calculations related to sales and service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Must be able to meet respirator fit requirements; facial hair that prevents a rebreather from sealing to the face is not permitted for safety reasons.

Nice To Haves

• Prior industry experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides to structures according to schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Respond promptly to customer requests for telephone and in-person service calls.
• Call customers to confirm scheduled services.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional Terminix products or services.
• Travel within an assigned territory to visit residential customers and perform pest-control treatments.
