About The Position

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Pest Control Service Professional to provide pest control services and support customers in their local community. The role involves working independently in the field, managing a service route, and representing the company through professional, customer-focused service. Candidates without pest control experience are welcome and receive comprehensive training. Training pay is $18 per hour.

The position includes residential pest control, mosquito services, termite inspections, and monitoring termite bait systems. The professional works with customers to address current and future account needs and coordinates with customer service, sales, and other service professionals. The job requires safely driving a company vehicle, applying pest control products according to label standards and safety guidelines, and working across varied environments and weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods and travel between counties or service areas.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties, with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of pest control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal and external customers and deliver excellent service to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage the daily operations of a Universal Service Route using effective time management.
• Perform residential pest control and mosquito services, and conduct termite inspections.
• Monitor termite bait systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Problem-solve customer accounts to address current and future needs.
• Communicate consistently with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
• Coordinate with customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Apply pest control products in accordance with label standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company equipment or driving a company vehicle.
• Adhere to the NORTHWEST WAY and represent the company’s values and image with professionalism and customer care.
