About The Position

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a field-based Pest Control Service Professional to serve customers in the local community. The position provides comprehensive training, including for candidates without pest-control experience, and offers the opportunity to manage a service route independently after training. The professional represents Northwest and its customer-care standards while protecting residential and business customers from pests.

The role involves residential pest control, mosquito services, termite inspections, and monitoring termite bait systems. It requires regular customer communication, problem-solving on customer accounts, coordination with internal teams, and safe use of pest-control products, company equipment, and a company vehicle. Work takes place in varied settings and weather conditions and may require accessing crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties, with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of pest-control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal and external customers and provide excellent service to encourage customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage the daily operation of the assigned Universal Service Route and complete route tasks using strong time-management skills.
• Perform residential pest control and mosquito services, and conduct termite inspections.
• Monitor termite bait systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Problem-solve customer accounts to address current and future needs.
• Communicate consistently with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
• Work with customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Apply pest-control products according to label standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company equipment and driving a company vehicle.
• Represent Northwest's values and image and adhere to its standards of professionalism and customer care.
